You take the role of Fae, a 22-year-old college girl who found herself taking a job in the province as part of her course program. Her job is the teller in a mysterious lending shop in an obscure part of town in the province. Apparently, a long-forgotten family relative owns this shop, which is why she got it in the first place.

Not long after settling, Fae discovers that the town is something she only read in fiction. Soon, she encounters clients of all sorts, all of whom exhibit bizarre characteristics such as having only a single eye or severed torso. What could be happening in this town?
